The room met all expectations. The breakfast was excellent and the freedom to use the lounge area to plan the next stage of our trip using the wi-fi was perfect. Julio Ribeiro, the host, was brilliant. He helped with suggestions on where to eat dinner (a local restaurant 50m away that was excellent for quality and value for money - We would never have considered it without Julio's recommendation) and he saved us over €200 by recommending the bus instead of the train to Lisbon. Same journey time and more flexible connections
There was quite a lot of noise from the street outside and people walking up the staircase

The Host clearly realised he's not the got the best of location. So really made up for it in facilities and breakfast. He's really thought about the facilities available in the communal spaces. Really good choice for breakfast. And I really liked it was available all the time so when I had an early train I was able to get myself sorted and go.
The only problems were outside of the Host control. The area is a little bit dodgy so if you someone who gets scared by rough areas not the place for you. You're not going to get great views out the window neither. And you can feel the trains passing by

Clean nice space and good breakfast included
Most uncomfortable bed. You could feel the springs and it was nearly impossible to sleep.
