The Mousetrap Inn

The location is lovely and the food is incredible. Would definitely stay again.

The room is a bit small but no problems for a couple of nights.

Location was ok for us as we like a walk. Room was cute but small and shower was good. The breakfast was also good.

Couldn't get parked at the property, managed to get in nearby across the road. Very busy and sat at the bar getting ignored while waiting for a drink and to check in. Young lad behind the bar went to serve a party of 3 men instead so had to speak out and I hate having to do that. Even younger lad who came behind the bar was nice and attentive though seeing what the other guy didn't. Someone walked up and down the creaky corridor approx 5am no joke about 10 times what could they have kept forgetting? Found the landlady to be efficient but not genuinely nice if you know what I mean and had to go searching for coffee refills a she went to every other table but ours. Also, if you advertise Eggs Benedict with Ham don't serve bacon... Wouldn't return as just didn't like it enough.

Lovely place, rooms are comfortable and clean, great location and the food is excellent.
