The room was lovely - spacious, well-furnished with comfortable chairs and a table. Beds were also comfortable. However, the hotel is very large and the music playing in the open spaces and people talking over it, made the public areas not at all relaxing, and impaired the dining experience as too nosisy.
The hotel was very large with a huge open area by the foyer where pianists and singers were performing most of the time. It made the place not very relaxing to sit in, and dinner was disturbed by the noise. The food was not great.

Wonderful breakfast. Hotel well located and easy to get to. Close to Lisnagelvin shopping centre, also Foyleside West
over the 2tier bridge and turn right. The layout of the main reception rooms - ie. luxurious lounges, dining room and
library bar are so relaxing.
A really lovely hotel; but one small complaint - (though not your fault!), the bedrooms facing the road have some road noise. Closing the well made windows helps - if closed perhaps a fan wood help?

Breakfast room is bright and airy. Staff are nice.
The breakfast was "institutional" quality. Mass produced of basic quality and presentation. Hot plates wee over-cooked and left sitting out too long. Cereal choice was "packaged", fresh fruit selection was very limited and coffee was just passable.
Guest bathrooms present as rarely checked for cleanliness and hygiene checks. Both cubicles in the gents foyer were very dirty. Very poor.
