I had a granddaughter rushed to Addenbrookes hospital after being born in our local hospital..2hrs away. The sorrento hotel was available and I stayed there throughout the 5wks she spent in hospital. The support and love I received from the hotel was amazing. She's now back at our local hospital...now 8wks old.

Good location for walking into town/train station. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.
Lack of pressure on shower.
Rooms a bit dated, thin curtains but clean and comfortable.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is good too. We visited the restaurant which is there for the evening and that was delcious!
We all had rather unusual rooms with 'quirky lay outs - including one person having a sauna and corner jacuzzi bath in her room. My bed mattress was old and hard and the shower had an overhang so it was quite a squash.
