das HOTEL in München

Great location with lots of restaurants around. There were four of us (one couple per room), all in our 50's and fairly fit. We comfortably walked to the Vitualienmarket within about 25-30 minutes. U-bahn station was about a 10 minute walk to get to Oktoberfest (only 4 stops from U-bahn Odeonsplatz to Teresienwiese). Very cozy hotel, very comfortable beds with nice comforter. Has central air but it was not needed, we just kept the window opened. Very quiet room (we were on the fifth floor). Breakfast was traditional German with lots of options and coffee machine. We rented a traditional Lederhosen outfit for Oktoberfest and the rental place was only one street over so we easily walked to it. Absolutely loved the hotel and recommend it. Will absolutely stay there again for our next visit.

Really loved everything. Only thing my husband wanted is either more hard boiled eggs for breakfast as they ran out or even better, some scrambled eggs.

Some of the staff were really helpful and provided a fan during the heat wave, extra towels, etc. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Location was great.

The hotel doesn’t look at all like the pictures online. It’s shabby and run down. A clear reminder that you get what you pay for.

Room was clean and comfortable, there was an option to separate the king-sized bed into two, which was very convenient in our case. After moving out, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel for a while, which was a nice addition to the experience.

the tea/coffee spot could be open longer

very close location to the city center, easily reachable even by foot. Quite calm place, but close to the restaurant and places where you can enjoy the stay in Munich

the most horrible breakfast I had ever in my life. No fork available, lack of bread, fruits, just one person to serve all guest, lack of places to sit during the peak moment (about 15 min). View from window on the internal courtyard and roofs - not the nicest one.
