The garden and view from there was gorgeous. A great place to breakfast, an afternoon tea or evening apero. Special mention to the night porter who was very helpful with our early departure.
It's dated but that's off set by the traditional and grandeur.

The stay was magical from the gorgeous views, the proximity to all major sites and the well-appointed and clean rooms. I had stayed decades ago and the hotel has upgraded considerably since then. Would definitely recommend!

The garden is lovely, the hotel is well-located, the breakfast is very nice as is the late afternoon bar and bartender.
I chose the hotel because so many gave it a high rating. This was only an average hotel. I was told I'd have a garden view and I did not. They offered to move me the next day, but who wants to unpack again? This hotel (or at least the room I had) is in need of updating and paint. When I arrived it had an overwhelming smell of bleach and yet the bathroom was not clean.
