Steve the owner left us some fresh milk and jam in the fridge, which you really appreciate when you're just staying for a few days and don't want to do supermarket shopping. You also get tea, coffee, sugar, milk, etc which is a really nice touch. The flat had lots of light and you can see the sea. The kitchen is very well equipped although we didn't cook. Our friends stayed at a nearby hotel, and other than getting a free breakfast, they paid twice the money for an outdated dingy room, compared to what you get a whole flat for in Duport Guest House.
The kitchen utensils, plates, glasses were a bit dirty, they haven't been properly washed after previous guests. I don't want other peoples' lip marks on my glasses and small bits of dried food on my cutlery. Other than that no major issues with the property.

It was convenient and parking was easy, the room had an en-suite and a kitchenette with tea,coffee and milk and cereals, which was a nice touch. It was clean and tidy and a flat walk to all the amenities of Penzance. Nice sea view from room 1.
I wouldn't call it a guest house as there was no sign of any hosts, but this wasn't necessary a problem.

Close to the promenade, clean, well equipped
Tiny room - practically fell over the bed as you walked into the room. Bed creaked with the slightest move, bedside table also seemed rickety. Not the place if you want a quiet nights sleep
