Exceptional hosts. Wonderful breakfasts. Such a luxurious but relaxing and welcoming house. I particularly enjoyed walks from the house through woodland to the local country house gardens then sitting soaking up the sun on the veranda with a complimentary coffee and admiring the amazing view with my dogs. Lovely facilities include super king sized beds, games room, drinks from honesty bar should you wish , dog toys, treats, blankets and huge enclosed fields for walking dogs. Well behaved dogs are even allowed in the breakfast room. I have stayed in many dog friendly places but this surpasses them all.

Immediately felt like home! Wonderful welcome from Lorna and Andre to their beautiful house. It feels more like a country house hotel than a bed and breakfast! Big sofas and arm chairs, terrace to watch the sun go down over the valley, billiard room and honesty bar - all perfectly maintained and spotless as well as being very dog friendly! Our beagle had a lovely break too. Bedroom was huge, with chairs and a window seat and the en suite was about the same size with bath and shower. Although they don’t do evening meals they were more than happy for us to order a takeaway or even heat up a ready meal in the microwave. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style for cereal, fruit toast etc - as well as a wide range of cooked - including a “full Cornish”. The standard was huge but you could go for a large!! All in all just an idyllic relaxing weekend break - would definitely come again. Just wish we had booked longer

I stayed at Costislost House last year and found it so nice that I stayed again this year for my annual golfing trip to St Enodoc. It's very conveniently located for my trip, being a short drive to the golf club. The property has large rooms and bathrooms, is very comfortable and in a totally quiet setting. The breakfasts are the best I have had at any B&B. All being well I will be returning next year.

Great location for getting to a number of attractions- lovely house in peaceful location with friendly and warm hosts. Excellent size room with superking size beds ( hooray!). Plentiful goodies for breakfast. Would definitely stay again. A real home from home- thank you to Lorna and Andre.
