The location is as good as it gets in Ortigia — a quiet street in the old town, minutes from the Duomo, the market and the Lungomare, and with its own internal parking, which almost nothing on the island offers. The apartment was large, bright and spotless, with a good balcony and a view. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful, and answered every message quickly, including arranging an early check-in for us.
The only issue was the air conditioning in this particular room, which felt underpowered for the size of the space in high summer.

This is a wonderful B and B in a great location that is also nice and quiet.
Our room was lovely and very clean.
I don’t think the breakfast is very good as other reviews have said.

We were a group of 10, two families with kids, rented 3 apartments. They were spacious, clean and cosy. Location is superb, close to all attractions, quiet street, supervised parking, easy to reach. Nice terrace for breakfast, which was 4/5.

The fantastic location, the warm and generous woman who ran the breakfast buffet on the 3rd floor porch.
This was the second time out of 3 sicilian hotels where I was given a different quality of room than what I paid for and another in my family travel party (3 other rooms) got the room i paid for even though they had signed up for a lower quality room. I think in this case the problem is booking.com and their quality control processes and standards. I probably won't use booking.com again.
