Hotel Solar do Arco

When I first started planning my trip to Região dos Lagos, I wasn't sure whether to stay in Cabo Frio. Then I found Hotel Solar do Arco, and the decision became easy. I fell in love with the hotel's colonial architecture and the surroundings of Passagem. With its cobblestone streets and beautifully preserved historic houses, the neighborhood reminded me of the charming historic towns of Minas Gerais, such as Tiradentes and Ouro Preto. My room was extremely spacious, warm and cozy, located near a beautiful fountain in the lobby. The sound of the water and birds during the day made the room feel incredibly peaceful. From the window, I could see a small part of Canal Itajuru, with little boats and seagulls passing by. The hotel is right by the canal, where boats depart for Ilha do Japonês, and next to the charming Beco do Príncipe, one of the area's most photographed spots. A short walk through the historic streets takes you to Largo de São Benedito, surrounded by preserved architecture, bars and restaurants. It is a lovely area to explore, have dinner and enjoy the laid-back vibe. The staff made the experience even more special. Carol and Leandro at reception were incredibly attentive and always happy to share local recommendations. They helped me arrange a boat trip to Arraial do Cabo, suggested places to visit in Cabo Frio and even offered a late check-out so I could enjoy my last few hours in town before heading to Búzios. The breakfast team was just as welcoming. Mauro, with Camila in the kitchen, made every morning feel special. During the low season, it was served directly at the table, with the option to order additional items such as waffles, scrambled eggs and pancakes with fruits. There were also fresh juices and coffee, with a lovely view of the pool and bougainvillea, accompanied by the birds singing in the garden. It was such a charming way to start the day that I still remember those breakfasts fondly.

I honestly can't think of a specific issue with my stay. The hotel is a little more pricey than some other options in Cabo Frio, but for me, the hospitality, the property and the location made it worthwhile. The only thing to keep in mind is that Passagem is a little farther from the main central area and some of the beaches, so it may not be the ideal choice for travelers who want to be right in the middle of everything or within a short walk of the beach.

Hotel é maravilhoso, quarto super aconchegante e confortável .Roupa de cama e banho impecáveis . Chuveiro delicioso . Além de ter um café da manhã delicioso, infraestrutura, decoração linda. Localização no melhor ponto de Cabo Frio , próximo da praia e melhores restaurantes. Tem estacionamento. E além disso tudo os funcionários são muito atenciosos , a Carol foi uma simpatia conosco .
