The full English was good, very tasty bacon and mushrooms. Generous serving of the Eggs Benedict, 2 eggs on muffins. We also had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, which was a lighter option. Particularly liked the capers on the smoked salmon, works well. Nice touch having fresh flowers on the breakfast tables. Enjoyed the nice quality toiletries in the room. The staff were very friendly. We had a good break.

First impression outside the pub, I was put off by the dirty windowsills. This was soon dispelled when inside our room. Although the outside bedroom windowsill where the flower planter is needs cleaning.

breakfast was very good

We were disappointed with room 6 ,it was very tired , the sink plug would not close , locking the door was difficult to lock when leaving , floorboards were very noisy , and the shower tray did not empty quickly enough , it may seem that this is a petty review but for what we paid we feel it could have been much better !!!! The breakfast was the saving grace .
