Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Aussicht. Gemütlicher Aufenthalts- bzw. Frühstücksraum. Feines Frühstück. Etwas ausserhalb von West Bay, aber möglich zu Fuss ins Zentrum zu spazieren. Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Wasserkocher und Tee im Zimmer. Als Begrüssung noch feine Schokoladen-Cookies. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes und sauberes Guesthouse mit super herzlichen Besitzern und tollem Garten. Leckeres Frühstück mit u.a. frischen Croissants. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Haus.Gute Ausgangslage, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Eine große Empfehlung! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, da wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. What a brilliant place Britmead is: loved the location, easy to walk into Bridport and West Bay, beautiful house, very comfy and clean, lovely room, great facilities, tasty breakfast, and above all, Nina our delightful host, made the stay memorable (for all the right reasons!), thank you Nina 😊 West Bay is a gem, something for everyone, great art exhibition in historic building with fab cafe, highly recommend Discovery Centre, providing fascinating history of town, George Hotel and Rubicon offer delicious food, and great service. Loved the sea swim and sauna at East Beach. Bridport is well worth a proper visit. Lots of independents. SW Coast path walking Charmouth to Abbotsbury stunning using excellent bus service to go one way and walk back over 2 days.

Excellent continental breakfast, a really warm welcome from Nina, who spent time to find out what we were doing and what would interest us on our holiday. Fresh milk was available to take to the room for tea/ coffee. The soundproofing was brilliant as we heard nothing from the road outside. The room and en suite were cleaned to a high standard and there was a towel warmer. All the facilities were in the room. The breakfast room and terrace look out over a wonderful view down to West Bay. And the garden was very well kept. There is on site parking available, a bus stop nearby and a shop 5 minutes walk away.

The beds were a little too soft for me but I still slept well. There was also a tiny difficulty with the bedside light as the cable was too short.
