Hotel Halm Konstanz

Excellent location by the train station. Beautiful old world hotel with fantastic architecture and detailing. Room was clean and comfortable.

Emails to check in on line - however button to translate into English did not work. Arrived at hotel to still have to use their computer to check-in as staff could not check me in without my filling in i formation on their computer. Asked to agree to terms and conditions but link to access them did not work. Took staff considerable time to find and print the 8 page document for me to review before agreeing. At check out computer system was "very slow" almost causing me to miss my transportation reservation.

Location

Location excellent when arriving by train as opposite station. Room comfortable and catered for all our needs.

Old fashioned and would benefit from some modernisation. The staff at reception were very poor, slow and didn’t appear to know what they were doing. Check-in procedure very cumbersome and pre stay check-in links didn’t work.
