Hotel Gasthof Alte Post

The hotel is about 5 bus stops away from Munich Airport, and the bus stop is just opposite the hotel (from airport direction). The room is clean, basic and comfortable. Staff are helpful. Dinner was good, though service was slow due to a small staffing.

The hotel dies not have a lift. If you have heavy bags, ask for help at the reception. The Wifi was not very stable. I could not get a signal the whole night but it worked when I was at the reception. The staff prefers cash so do have sufficient cash with you to pay for meals and incidentals.

Quiet and with friendly and helpful staff.

Room locking system should be improved. The keys were too big.

Hotel Gasthof Alte Post was much better than we expected! We simply wanted a quiet place a slight distance away from the airport. It had a very comfortable quiet and spacious room, and positively wonderful food in the restaurant! And local beer! Plus, it was in a traditional neighborhood with a super little walking path through a park and along the river ... full-on nature right there! There is even a fish feeding station. The bus from the airport drops you right in front of the hotel. Note : the signs pointing to BUS at the airport are a little confusing. Just walk straight up to the Information booth and ask for where to catch bus 512 ... it will make your life easier.

Close to airport. Check in and check out were very simple.
