The breakfast was amazing. Simply delicious. You get a cart when you arrive and then you can select whatever you want, and the quality is really good. The orange juice is freshly pressed.

The hotel has a premium location in the middle of the old city, within walking distance of all the restaurants and the harbour side. Breakfast was great, and they also catered to gluten-free options, having gluten-free bread. Great to be able to pre-order when you arrive, so you know what to expect.
Quirky hotel, with the bathroom decor and shower. Wifi worked impeccably as I checked in to do an online exam via Zoom, and the connection was beautiful
When we checked in, the receptionist only spoke Portuguese, and he did not inform us that they would take care of parking when we parked near the P-house. It would have been nice to have that information upon arrival. Parking can be tricky as there is one P house close, but no information about pricing or when it is open (24-hour or closes overnight)

Great location short walk from the train station and a short walk to the festival, the room was gorgeous and quirky and weird and everything was lovely
None of the menu QR codes worked, and the staff was mostly absent, however, they were incredibly kind and laid-back about everything.
