The owner makes this stay. Never met anyone quite like them. So funny and always smiling. A trip to remember. Lovely little doggo too.
The property is a bit outdated. However, is it homely and authentic.

Perfect location for me, view of the River and a nice walk to the town. The bed was comfortable, warm and the option of heating if required. Tea and milk supply was really good. Yvonne is lovely, helpful and a great host.

Friendly greeting and great local recommendations. Quiet location by the river with parking readily available on street. Lovely river walk (traffic free)in to town centre in about 10 mins. Very nice breakfast with lovely fresh fruit, coffee, toast etc.

The main appeal was the host who was exceptionally kind and a great communicator While the house was old it was very clean. Yvonne checked in with me regularly to ensure I was happy. As a solo traveler I felt safe in the house.
I wasn’t mad about the location which seemed quite run down and a bit off the beaten track. The house itself really needs a revamp. I understand the host wishes to mind the planet but some basic toiletries such as shower gel would have been welcome
