We could not have a better location to Neuschwanstein. Merely steps away.
Carpets were very dirty.
Although I knew when I booked it was a shared bathroom, I didn’t realize we would be sharing with the entire floor

The staff was very friendly and professional. We arrived after the kitchen had closed for the evening, but they made an excellent suggestion for dinner in town, and all in all it felt like we were visiting with family. The drop off point for the carriages going to the castle is at the lower end of the parking lot, so you are already as close to the castle as possible, without waiting in any lines!
The only issue we had was our own fault. Did not buy castle tickets far enough in advance and they sold out online. But with the parking passes it was very easy to get down to the ticket office in the morning, which really helped.

Location - amazing! The view - stunning!
As a family, we are not fans of shared bathrooms, but we made it work! One room included a private in-room bathroom, but the other one was shared with other guests on the same floor........The in-room bathroom also provided us with "critters" on the ceiling!

Unfortunately I have not enough look at the comments and the location is the hotel's only selling point—it's right at the foot of the castle—but unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the lack of information provided at the time of booking...
The staff is leaving at 18/19h and there is not possibility to get lunch without going to the town below.
The bathroom and toilets are shared (maybe my mistake but I see no mention of that).
The room itself is quite old and in the room we were the wifi was unreachable and mobile service was nearly not existing so to summarize: no food, no drink, no internet to pass the time... Not a great time
