Lodge at Bristol

Lovely hotel, staff were great, breakfast good

No full length mirror in the bedroom. Bathroom light was bright with a frosted door. Shower temperature variable

I liked everything. The beds were a bit funny, it had wheels and kept rolling around. There was a gap in the middle

The breakfast was not really a lot. Usually i get kuch more food for breakfast in moat places.

the shower door had alot of limescale on it that could of made the room look alot cleaner

The room was nice, I liked the idea of the glass door for the toilet, makes it more romantic for date nights etc. The free parking was a good bonus over the weekend The location is nice, got to explore a few places nearby including the best kebab shop in town

The breakfast was not ideal, as it was linked to 'The Black Sheep' but it was not clear on booking what is provided with breakfast. Having an egg sandwich and a coffee for each guest is not what I expected for the extra price I paid. This could have been clearer as my expectations was full-English breakfast or open buffet or at least more options such as cereals or jam. This was the most shocking experience and was embarrassing for me and the family who were really looking forward for the breakfast experience. Having two different sites having to check-in at the Aztec Hotel which looked quite luxurious but then left to go find my way to the Lodge and having to call them (from my own phone as couldn't figure out the phone system to call reception) to find out whether they have a fridge for me to store some food overnight was slightly inconvenient as I had leave the building in the rain to go to reception across the road to give them the food and pick them up again next day with the same way.
