Loi Suites Iguazu Hotel

The pool areas were really pretty even though the main pool area only had the middle section heated enough to be comfortable. The taxi service at the hotel was probably the best thing about the place and very convenient.

Very family friendly which is nice for families but the main pool area had lots of kids and was loud and no room in the middle section that was the only area heated. There is an adults only bar and pool area but it was on the opposite side of the site to our room which took quite a while to walk to so it wasn’t convenient for us. Also our room was next to an elevator that constantly buzzed extremely loudly every time someone used it so throughout the nights and early mornings I was woken up a lot. The staff were okay but didn’t respond to a request or question I had on their messages and left me on read. Also I asked for some ice after my husband slipped on their slippery stairs and there was no concern they just said go to the kitchen. Also the dinner service at the restaurant was a bit average. No one was rude or anything but kind of just short and not as good as other places and for what we paid. I would say there’s probably better places to stay for the money. Do your research especially as a couple without children.

Poolside service was very slow even though there weren't many guests present.

Very good breakfast, staff very nice and attentive, the rooms were comfortable and good size. The one restaurant we tried (Tiki Bar) was very good, food and staff were amazing. They arranged taxi for us (more pricy than uber or other transfers though).

Pool area full of mosquitoes, you couldn’t stay there. In fact, my boyfriend got bitten so much by mosquitoes in the adults pool that he had an allergic reaction with blisters and fever… they should consider adding some citronella or electric mosquito catcher to make it more pleasant to stay on that pool. There is no touristic info provided, if you want to do tours or visit local communities, that don’t provide much info or offer those tours. No money exchange service or atm to withdraw money, which is inconvenient, as everything is with cash on the Argentina side of the waterfalls…

The hotel is quite old, maintained well, but still looks like it is pretty much old. Service at the restaurant at the pool is absent. A lot of stuff but nobody is responsible to take your order. Ordered some peanuts for the beer, the waiter simply forgot about it right after we ordered. It should be mentioned that there were only two tables occupied at that time - he was not overloaded. The other day I ordered Aperol Sprits and they made it for 20k peso, from my point of view, forgetting to add sparkling wine. The same day another bartender made it absolutely different (even looked different), tasty, good and just for 11k. In the whole room there is only one European socket over the mirror in the bathroom. No adapters are provided even on the reception🤷‍♀️
