Holiday Inn Resort Shinano-Omachi Kuroyon by IHG

The location of the Holiday Inn was perfect for our plans. After finishing the Alpine Route, it was only a 12-minute drive to the hotel, which was very convenient. The room was huge and very comfortable, and I especially loved the large shower. Our window faced the golf course, and although the room had a balcony, unfortunately we couldn’t really use it. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good selection and quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and the location worked perfectly for our trip.

Spacious rooms, western options for buffet breakfast

The rooms were absolutely perfect - very spacious, with very comfortable beds and the perfect temperature. Definitely the best stay we've had in Japan so far. Our kids loved the kids room. It was great to have an onsen right inside the hotel.

It was a little out of the way, not much around this area but we knew that when we booked. We didn't get a chance to explore the grounds as it was raining heavily the whole time we were there but despite the remote location I think it would have been a great place to explore the outdoors.

The Hotel room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had a large verity and was well designed.

The gym has no actual function. There are no amenities like other hotels we stayed at on our trip to Japan. We were charged extra for a local phone call made to the car hire company.
