Hotel Dom Carlos Park

I arrived earlier than check in time which was not a problem, & I left my bags while I went out for the day - then when I got back later, they had already taken my bags to my room, which was a really unexpected & lovely action. It was located a little further out than I would have chosen for myself, but was part of a tour & I booked an extra night for convenience. Hotel is located only 5min walk from both the metro & bus stops. Public transport journey from the airport wasn’t super simple, but a Bolt journey was only €9 so would recommend this. I was staying under seperate bookings, but I was able to remain in the same room & not have to check out & back in again, so I appreciated that too.

Proximity being further out of the ‘main’ sights, but that’s just personal preference.

No coffee or tea making facilities in the room and no bar

The staff were very kind, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel’s location was excellent — everything was nearby and easily accessible. Although the hotel did not have many facilities, it was fair and reasonable for the price.

The breakfast was exactly the same every day with very little variety, which became disappointing after a few days. Also, the shampoo provided in the room was very low quality and barely foamed, almost like there was no shampoo at all. The hair dryer was also very weak and kept turning off while using it.

Good location in a pleasant neighborhood. Very close to a metro stop. Clean facilities.

Rooms are extremely small. The AC was working at a maximum and it was still hot inside the room. The facilities have been slightly upgraded but most things are still old and not working properly. Water pressure was extremely low.
