The Cherry Tree B&B

Breakfast was continental or cooked bacon scrambled egg and sausage. There was plenty of it and it was well presented. There was a choice of tea coffee and juice. You could also have yogurt, cereal, bread or toast. The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge which was ideal to cool our water before our walks. The location was perfect for quick access to town and the sea front which was about 300 meters away which would be ideal for families visiting to go on the beach.

The only issue which is of course is out of the owners control was parking. Having said that we were able to find parking further up the road and were able to move the car closer the following day so it was really no hardship.

Breakfast was excellent- lots of choice!

Perhaps better curtains to block out street lights.

Felt the room carpet was a little dirty and the bedding was clean but smelt a little off

I like the location of the property and the eye for detail in the room we stayed in. There was lovely lighting into the room and high privacy with trees blocking the outside looking in.

There were a few things I wernt keen on. First off, it was described to provide an extra large bed, but the bed was two single beds pushed together which lead to a very uncomfortable sleep. There was a mini fridge and a kettle with minimal tea bags to serve. A selection of herbal tea would have been great. The room could do with a unit to be placed in the corner instead of the ‘kitchen’ space being on the floor. I didn’t like that you couldn’t lock the door from inside your room with the key, it felt a bit unsafe. Thankfully, we were safe. But I would of had more comfort in knowing I could lock the door.
