I stayed 2 nights at the Devonshire Hotel. Staff very polite and helpful. My room was very clean and large. Bed was comfortable. In all a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel.

Decent place, decor a bit tired but the room is big and clean. Be warned there is no air conditioning and no fan in the room. Our room backed onto a busy road so we had to close the windows to sleep which meant it was quite hot and stuffy.

The staff were the most helpful and friendly, very accommodating! Loved Hugh at the front desk Neal at the night desk and the evening bartended. Best comedian! Had a ball every night. If you like Indian food, the restaurant on the premise is delightful.
