I had a really good stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms in the coach house are new, spacious and comfortable. It’s nice to find a hotel with original features and spacious grounds. It’s easy to forget how close to the city you are.

Breakfast was great
We both ordered steak for dinner, my wife wanted a well done rib eye., When it arrived it was cooked but cold, when it came back a second time it was hot but cooked to medium not well done (still slightly pink in the middle. She ate it the second time as I had already finished my meal and she felt she should, rather than send it back again.

It was in a convenient location to the airport. It looked grand from the outside and in the main building. Ample parking available and the bathroom was nice minus the tap.
We were not able to stay in the main building. Instead we were put in the Dovecoat which was far less grand. It’s essentially another building that you could compare to a Travelodge. The walls were dirty, the tap in the bathroom was loose and the bed was too soft (albeit I appreciate that’s personal preference). Our room looked completely different to the rooms advertised and was generally disappointing.
