Superb location in Coniston

Energy efficient Hotel. ( no heating in the room ) !

There were lots of little extras in the room, which made it feel homely. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed an evening meal at the Inn. Having a parking space was very useful, and breakfast was good too. We’d definitely be happy to go back.

Fabulous location. All the staff were polite and made sure we were looked after. I had a light breakfast but my husband had the full English which he thoroughly enjoyed. Basic , clean hotel .

Unfortunately there was no shower in our room . If we had been staying a few days the bath would have been lovely. The bath taps had a shower attachment on but there wasn’t a shower curtain or anything to hold the shower on .

The location is great, centre of Coniston. Very clean. Staff friendly.

The bed and pillow were very hard. No toiletries in bathroom. No hairdryer although this was resolved on the second day. Ground floor room with no net curtains so blinds had to be drawn fully all the time to maintain privacy. Noisy in the mornings as our room was near the bins. The room was very expensive and not value for money.
