Hotel La Casa de Irma

Tucked away in an alley but still plenty of food and main square nearby

Light outside the room was a little bright but turned off eventually

Great location - really quiet area at night and very easy walk to historical centre. The room was cleaned every day and the breakfast on the 3rd floor terrace had lovely views. Some people have said the breakfast is basic but for the price of the hotel we felt it was spot on - fresh coffee, juice, bread and eggs freshly cooked each day ( there was also complimentary tea at reception). The staff were very nice and we have no complaints whatsoever.

It was very clean and we had warm showers. They accommodated us for late check in and kept our bags after checkout. Perfect location though. Walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Very central to everything. Breakfast was great! Arranged laundry washing for us. Daily housekeeping.

The location was very tricky to find. Taxi cabs could not drive on our street location. Our first night the taxi driver left us on the street but we could not find the hotel. He finally helped us but it was tucked around a corner on a small street.

Receptionist: she had limited experience and it seemed she didn’t understand our requests. Breakfast options were very limited as well and there was a bad smell in the room
