Gistihús Hólmavíkur

Typical wooden house near the harbour of Holmavik. We had a room with a private bathroom. Everything was very small with just enough room for everything (two suitcases and two backpacks included). This is not a very fancy location but you have everything you need. Breakfast was basic but you could get tea every hour of the day. There is a great restaurant near by (try the local beer, the pizza's and of course the classic Icelandic dishes) and the museum of Witchcraft and Sorcery is right next door (a must visit!). And loads of parking space too!

Maybe a more diverse breakfast?

Spokojne kameralne miejsce prawie na końcu świata ☺️

Decent breakfast. Loved having a sink in my room!!!!! Great to have toilet and shower in separate rooms when shared. Nice and clean. Great to have coffee, tea and water available at all times.

More interaction with staff would have been nice. A bit more decorative accents eventually will make it even better!

Overall, they were kind to us. The location was good. There is a restaurant nearby.

The room was very small. There was no soap or shampoo in the showers. Breakfast was very basic. We were not allowed to use the dining room to eat dinner.
