SACHA Centric

The hotel was very clean, the shower was very good and the beds were very comfortable. The location was also excellent, easy to get to from the bus station and on the edge of the historic centre so easy to get to everything we needed. We were very well assisted by Griselda from reception when I was taken ill. I suffered quite bad altitude sickness from Rainbow Mountain, and continued to be ill when I returned. She knew exactly what to do, brought oxygen to the room and advised on next steps if I didn’t improve. She was incredibly helpful.

The property was quite noisy. Our room was off the main courtyard and you could hear everything, including people coming in loudly at 2am.

Room was comfortable and the property is located nearby to restaurants and shops. They made a breakfast box for my included breakfast due to early departure.

Checkin was supposed to be from 12 noon, and when I arrived at 4pm I was told the room wasn’t ready because there had ‘been an incident’. I understand issues can occur but I should have been advised at check in time rather than left in the dark and then to arrive only to have to wait in the lobby for an unspecified amount of time. When I got my room, it stunk so heavily of bleach I had to open the main door and balcony windows to air it out so I didn’t choke on the smell. They offered me a 1L bottle of water as an apology.

Great location to everything, check in was 12 which was great timing for our flight compared to other places. There was a heater in the room, the water was hot and everything was very clean. The staff Diego and Luis were super kind and even held our bags for 5 days free of charge while we did the Salkantay Trek. Would highly recommend staying here!!!

It is great building with lots architectural details. Location was good but loud also. Cars beeping all the time,

Our room was facing main street, quite loud. There was no hot water in the evening.
