Lovely and quiet. No noise from neighbouring properties. Beautiful views with 3 different seating areas on the terrace and balcony. Spotlessly clean. Water, prosecco and juice on arrival. This is always a lovely touch. At the bottom of the road (turn right out of the property) is a large free car park, close to the town and 5 minute walk through the old town to the promenade and beaches...including the free beach which wasn't busy due to our visit being in September. The car park gets busy but people come and go so it's worth waiting and following people!! Definitely go to the Grotto Di Borgio Berezzi which absolutely stunning. And it is worth taking a drive up to the medieval villages of Zuccarello and Castelvecchio Di Rocca Barbena. There are a couple of small restaurants which don't open until 12. The villages are only small but wonderful.

Not enough clothes hangers in the wardrobe. No where to hang coats at the front entrance. The mattress was soft and seemed to dip a little in the middle, but then we prefer a firm mattress. There were only prosecco glasses and no red/white wine glasses. The light in the hallway was on a sensor and came on each time you stepped out of the bedroom. It was a little annoying if you got up in the night to go to the bathroom as the light shines directly into the bedroom....and it is bright!! Sat Nav took us to a property further up the road. If you are coming from the toll road direction, you need to take the turning on the right at the junction as soon as you get onto Via Ranzi and double back on yourself. There is a small sign for the property but you can miss it in the dark.

I would say everything. Great location in a modern apartment. The scenery is amazing from the terrass. 15-20 minutes walk to the beach is great. Don’t look at google maps to find the shortest way. Use the local stair shortcuts between the streets.

Wonderful 1 bedroom apartment in a modern villa with generous terrace with breath-taking view over the olive tree cladded hills just outside Pietra. Apartment is new and has a fully equipped kitchen (which includes dishwasher!). Private, locked parking place (anyone who travels to Liguria knows how a parking place is valuable during hi-season). Despite being 500 m from the highway, it is secluded and quiet. Host does not live in the same complex, therefore privacy is guaranteed. We rarely stayed in a better place in this part of Italy, and surely there is no Hotel in the area which can even get close to what this location has too offer.
