Spacious apartment given it's central old town location, great views over Split. Very thoughtfully furnished, with lots of little extras like cold drinks in the fridge and sweets to welcome you. Very comfortable large and firm bed.

Perfect location steps from the golden gate to palace and quiet. The proprietor was superb and helped us even though our flight in and out were at odd times.

The room and bathroom are well decorated, spacious and comfortable. There was a couple of water bottles and soft drinks in a fridge, a plate of sweets, coffee facilities, and toiletries supplied. The room is a short walk from the Diocletian Palace (not in it, as his website tries to suggest)

Parking was highly stressful and took over an hour, despite specifically asking the host the day before, where we could park. He replied that instructions were on his website. These proved to be completely unhelpful, and the host needs to provide much clearer instructions that consider tourists, often from another country, visiting Split for the first time. Using his website's very dark and over simplified map, along with the written comments, it took us over an hour to find a place to park. Host needs to mention that the Parking Split app does not work on phones from another country. Host needs to consider supplying a google maps pin location so that drivers can find the various car parks he has listed, as it's impossible to find them with what is currently on the the website. Host needs to also mention that many car park machines are in Croatian only. The rooms' website boasts that it is in the Diocletian Palace and not a short walk from it, so we were a little surprised to find that we did have a short walk to enter the palace. The host says that one of the features is a view from the room, but the window was very small, high up, with wire mesh covering it, so we couldn't understand why he'd said it was good. There's actually a much better view from a window whilst climbing 4 flights of steps up to the room. Shower cubicle leaks, and it seems that water from there has caused the bathroom door to swell and not close properly.
