Holiday Inn - Lusaka by IHG

The friendly staff and nice clean rooms. Food was excellent though sometimes service a little slow.

We had ‘half board’ booked which allowed us 400 kwacha each every night towards our meal. I paid any overspend daily as I left the restaurant. The night before checkout they told me money was outstanding which was incorrect. Restaurant staff were called and I was assured the account was now sorted and nothing owed. On early morning check out, I was told again that I owed the money!! This delayed our departure as the on duty staff had to telephone off duty to go over the whole thing for the third time! We would stay again but not book half board and would not pay as you go each day as reception does not seem to register these payments made at the restaurant and bar. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of coherent handover.

In the restaurant we really appreciate the service of Mrs Royce. She was excellent!

Only the cost. It is expensive compared to the same comfort in other countries

Mattress is getting old, i stay in this hotel every time i visit Zambia and i can experience the mattresses are getting older.
