The serene property was perfect for my sabbatical. I was able to enjoy Eagles Nest to simply get away and have some time alone. Dan helped me build a fire in my studio each time I needed him.

I liked the staff very much but was a little disappointed that they barely speak English, so get your google translator App ready when you come.

Location was great, staff greeted us right away and helped us into the room. It was very cozy, weather was pretty chilly while we were there but the room stayed warm enough, even without turning on the heater. Room we stayed in was the perfect size for just two of us; it had a kitchen, sizable bathroom, dinner table, a small bedroom, and nice living room/bedroom. The bed was cozy & we loved the comforters/blankets that were provided, took advantage of the cold and bundled up good for the first time this year. Perfect little cabin stay, parking is right outside the door and extremely accessible. Will definitely book here again, hopefully when/if the mountain gets snow this year!! If not, Oktoberfest in Big Bear was a blast and this was the perfect place to stay!!

This is my second time in two weeks staying here. I love this property and a couple that run are very kind. My first day two weeks ago I rented one of the individual units that had a in room Jacuzzi and that was great.. This time was a last-minute booking and they only had the rooms available in the big cabin. it was amazing.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property

It was unique

A little far from downtown to see the fireworks
