Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Fayetteville by IHG

I like the staff, they weren't afraid to pay you the greeting of the day. One of them even bowed. It reminded me of being in Japan—people bow to each other over the phone there. I liked that we had fresh clean towels and all the bathing and washing toiletries were provided. I liked the complementary breakfast. Very tasty and well-done. The breakfast area was kept clean and so was the hotel in general. I think it was a comfortable stay.

I did not like that our room had no curtains to shut out the daylight, the public, or the parking lot lights. I brought my eye mask, but for my special needs son, he had to suck it up because of sensory issues with a sleep mask. I don't like that the room stayed cold even after we put the thermostat on 83⁰. And lastly... Personally, I did not like that I could not set up an early check-in. If I am paying for incidentals, I should also be able to pay for any early check-in at least 24hrs in advance.

We were not able to check-in until 5pm because they were short staffed and didn’t have any clean rooms. The lobby had at least confirmed reservations waiting for rooms until 6pm.
