My husband and I wanted to visit Dollywood but stay up in the mountains to see bears, and this cabin was great for our visit! We were able to get up the mountain without 4WD but I imagine it's necessary in the winter. The master bedroom was comfortable, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with plates/cups/utensils, there were plenty of towels to go around, and we loved sitting out on the rockers on the porch. We saw several bears from safely inside the cabin as well! The hosts were extremely fast to respond when we noticed a flickering light in the master bedroom, and followed up to ensure all was well afterward. The neighbors to the cabin were also lovely, it's nice to know you're staying in a friendly area. Overall a very nice stay for us, highly recommend it if you want to visit Dollywood but stay away from the main strip and enjoy a little nature.

We had a fantastic time. We had daily visits from the bears. We were able to watch them from inside the cabin! The cabin was very clean and we will be back again!

We love this spot. It’s high up in the mountains and is surrounded by nature. Great spot for couples or families. There is a cool retro game console there and a hot tub on the back porch. I highly recommend this place as a Smoky Mountain getaway. .

We could not be happier with our stay at the cabin! This was a perfect getaway for my 75 yr old parents, my youngest daughter, and myself. The cabin was just as described, but trust me that pictures do not do it justice. My dad was impressed with the beautiful craftsmanship of the cabin, and my mom loved all the decor and necessities. Highlights from our trip were relaxing on the deck and seeing wildlife in the surrounding area. During our time there, we watched a fox and then another evening we watched two bears for a considerable amount of time from the cabin porch. We also traveled to the national park and have a great time seeing elk, three black bear, whitetail deer, turkey, and even a large black snake! My daughter and I had a blast in pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for the evening nightlife. My parents enjoyed time spent at the cabin after driving through the national park during the day. If you’re thinking about a relaxing getaway, this is the place!
