Hanbury Turn

Excellent host, made to feel very welcome. The room was spotless with all usual facilities. Nice touch was the provision of cakes and biscuits in the room. To my delight the pub sells a nice range of excellent real ales.

Nothing

Location was perfect. Rooms were beautiful.

The location of this hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms it is first class. This is a wet pub so there is no real food available for dinner or breakfast. Parking is okay.

I think the major point is there is no breakfast here. Secondly, which ever way you try to get to the rooms you have to go up some fairly steep stairs. Now that’s okay for us but bear in mind if you have a mobility issue it could be a challenge. Now I need to be careful with this point. We have stayed here before and I sometimes feel like a bit of an outsider. Especially when sat in the pub itself. The staff are okay polite, and helpful. Probably not over friendly but I accept that’s a perception. I will certainly stay here again.

Both my wife and I were surprised by the room we had which was way beyond our expectations

If I was real;y picky, I'd say the toilet in the room was too close to the towel rail
