Arenal-Area Jungle Lodge — Pool Access, 5BR/6.5BA, Sleeps 20

We had a wonderful stay, the house is so spacious with the most amazing view. My family enjoyed our time here. We were close to everything we wanted to do. The host were friendly and attentive. We truly fell in love with this home. The only thing I would recommend is putting a sensor light outside the gate because at night it’s so hard to see and at time it was difficult to find the entrance. But overall we are super happy we chose this place

My family of 5 needed 5 rooms which was hard to come by. This place was such a nice way to experience a part of Costa Rica. A bit far from tourist attractions but that was our preference. The mountains of Costa Rica should not be missed. Great communication with the host, who is part of the community, maybe you’ll see them in town ;) We got lucky and got hooked up with Allan (Crazy Allan’s Tours) and Sandro as our driver for the week. They both worked with us to tailor tours & sites and were fun to spend the week with, The house is very nice, full of amenities, private patios and one of the best views you’ll see. Everything worked out great. I’d go back there in a heartbeat.

My family spent a wonderful 3 days here. The lodge is charming and the views outstanding. The host is very helpful and set up a wonderful driver and transport for our stay. He also recommended a great tour guide for us. The staff are very gracious and helpful.

The actual building was great and the view was beautiful. The road leading to the lodge was tough and a 4 wheel drive is recommended due to the pot holes and dirt road. The online communication was incredible and so many questions were answered prior to our visit. Once we got there, communcation was more challenging because our contact person was on vacation so communication was harder. We booked excursions through the communicatons. It would be helpful to have the locations in a book at the house as we struggled a bit with that. The kitchen is well equipped! The prepared dinner that you can sign up for was really special. They brought the food and prepared it right there. They cleaned up well after. The site has laundry facilities right there which was great. The lodge has a gate that you can lock before the driveway which is good. We didn't anticipate getting in as late as we did so check in was harder to get a hold of anyone. When they got there, they were lovely, we just didn't speak spanish. They used google translate. They were as nice as can be.
