The house was wonderful

Great place for a group who needs a place for a gathering. Host was very prompt in responding to inquiries. Highly recommended.

The kitchen needed some additional items such as tea or coffee mugs as there were only 8 mugs available and we had 13 adults on our trip. The Keurig needed to be descaled.Plenty of space for 13 adults to be comfortable during our stay. However the lower level had many different interesting bugs coming in out of the cold during our stay.

Pros the house has plenty of bedrooms for a large group - there were 8 of us. The hot tub and outdoor decks plus the views were great. We also used the grill and the fire pit. Cons not all the bathrooms had usable showers, the light in the bathroom water closet went out the night of check in, Internet was spotty and we had to keep resetting the modem, my son had a mouse visitor while he was going to the bathroom one morning and there were tons of insects (earwigs, spiders and flies) all over the property which made it feel unclean. If you are looking for a place to “rough it” for a short period of time - definitely better than a log cabin IMHO but the place definitely needs regular pest control maintenance and a makeover of key rooms.
