My wife and I were on a short (2 day) trip to the best of the Bordeaux wine country and we wanted accommodation that was central to that area. Château De l’Isle in the small town of Castelnau-de-Médoc-de-Medoc looked like the best option for us. It doesn’t serve evening meals but that didn’t bother us.The chateau is located at the end of a very quiet street with no through traffic. It was delightfully secluded. Beautiful building in wonderful surrounds. Car parking is provided free of charge.
