Blue Relais Maggiore

We were looking for a property close to Malpensa airport with secure parking and this absolutely filled the brief- you park outside your room and the whole complex is gated. Not a tourist area - it is possible to walk to the lake but a lot of the lakeshore is private and no access so a bit of effort required. Breakfast was very good the room clean and comfortable and air conditioned.

Nothing really - it suited our needs as a transit hotel and could be used as a hop off for visiting the Lakes if you are driving

This is a motel-style hotel with each room having direct access from outside. It has advantages: car parked right at the door, and disadvantages when you have to get to the breakfast in the rain. The room is well equipped (including closet, fridge, bathroom and very comfortable beds). Breakfast was good - enough choice for 2-3 days. Excellent coffee. The staff was also very nice (lady working at breakfasts was the best!). Finally, it has really fair quality to price ratio.

These are not major complaints but: Location is near a busy road, and nothing interesting is actually there. You can't access the lake easily. It is also on departures direction from Malpensa airport, so I had a lot of trouble sleeping: you get dogs barking all night and planes overflying you from 6:00 at least. I hate duvets like this - just put between two sheets. In the morning you usually wake up under total mess. Finally - bathroom with features for disabled is very welcome, just why is the toilet seat so high?

Clean room, good room temperature, possible park car near. Good bed and bathroom. Near location: McDonalds, shops, supermarket.

1,2 km walk way from train station. Motel type hotel.

Breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is
