Amalia Hotel Nafplio

Good hotel. Friendly staff. Bit tired rooms and beds. But very quiet and spacious. A large scale set up, and it seems aimed at organized travel. Good breakfast. Very convenient location to use as a basis to visit the sites in the area.

Beds were a bit dated as is the decor.

It was a good base to explore the area

The breakfast was not much better than a motorway hotel so that was disappointing considering the cost. Terrible coffee, stale cake and croissants. Cooked breakfast that had been sweating in warming trays for hours. The property overall is tired. Maybe it was the height of excellence in the 80s and 90s but it needs an update! The pool had a rim of yellow suncream around the pool from years of neglect. And the cost of drinks was eye watering by the pool

Very good facilities, exceptional staff and rich breakfast buffet

Room size is good and mattress was comfortable Staff responsive Swimming pool looked nice but we couldn't try it due to the weather conditions

Cleaning products: very strong smell of cheap green apple cleaning products Breakfast: average in quality (lower than standard for this price range), not a quiet experience: waiters banging the cutlery and plates at 7am in the morning while it is supposed to be a pleasant and relaxing moment Wifi: inexistent in the room (the hotel is a U-shape so you might not have the wifi based on your room location)
