It was a fabulous location

Some of the paint is looking really tired and grubby

Great location very central and only 5 minutes walk or so to the main canal for ferry etc. Was very quiet off a side alley that had a wonderful local restaurant opposite. Room was all you needed and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again ! Can't wait.

The location of this property is good. The rooms also are exactly how they show in the pics on the site. If one is looking at a budget friendly hotel, this is a good option. However, their sister concern hotel is also 300m away and is a better property in my opinion. One can check that out.

There were two issues that we faced. Number 1, there is no reception or anything. The hotel is In a building with code system and the room on the ground floor (Which was ours) is also with just a code system and there were no additional latches. Point being, anyone with that code can have access to our room which doesn't guarantee a complete safety. Which leads to Number 2, where the garbage guy comes late night to collect it at around 11.30pm which then makes you feel there is someone outside the room and since there is no additional latch, we were up thinking someone is trying to break in. Again, this was a personal exp. I am not saying the property is not safe or anything but in a new place and with just one door with a code system, one can start to question.
