Grand Hotel Panama Firenze

Absolutely beautiful — a traditional old Italian house, extremely well kept and spotless, super comfortable. The bed was huge and the bathroom was really comfortable too. The staff were super friendly. We had a room with an internal view of the garden and a lovely Italian-style balcony, very well maintained, with decor that matched the character of the building perfectly — a gorgeous stone house. I'd recommend it 100%. Breakfast was simple but really good, especially the coffee, which was excellent. The staff were fantastic. The location is central, close to the tram stop, and right across from the river, surrounded by plenty of shops. It's about a 10-minute walk to the center, but it's a very easy and pleasant walk

Honestly, I wouldn't change anything. I think the hotel delivered on everything it promised — very comfortable, great value for money.

Well located boutique hotel just off downtown Firenze. Close to buses and OK for the train station. Decent size bedroom. Nice and quiet.

Intermittent WiFi when we were there - Hopefully sorted by now. A bit dark in places. The breakfast room is small and can get crowded. Breakfast is minimal continental.

Charming gentleman checked us in early. The room was long and narrow, with twin beds positioned end to end. All perfectly clean and comfortable, provided we only moved around one at a time. The on-site parking was a bonus and reasonably priced - beware though, if you have a large car/SUV you might struggle to get through the gate. Good location, but not easy to get a taxi into the centre, even using the Apps.

Shower was extremely small. Difficult to lather up without opening the door. Plugging things in was difficult as the power block was unplugged and furniture had to be moved to reach the socket.

Staff were lovely and great location.

The shower is possibly the worst shower ever, poorly built that you can’t just wash your body you hair will get wet, the door is silly and you end up turning the shower off by just moving around. The breakfast wasn’t great, the breakfast staff bless her she was so lovely but could not make a cappuccino to save her life - worst coffee I had in Italy.
