The house has so much character and was incredibly cute! The location was perfect — just a short walk to both the beach and downtown Duck. We truly enjoyed our long weekend getaway and appreciated how convenient everything was. There were a few downsides during our stay. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the outdoor fire pit because the propane tank was empty. Someone did come out to replace it, but it was installed so tightly that none of us could turn it on afterward. Additionally, most of the soap dispensers throughout the home were empty. We notified the property management company, but they were never refilled during our stay. One suggestion that would really enhance the experience would be to provide a few beach chairs for guests, especially given how close the property is to the beach. Overall, we still had a great weekend and enjoyed our time at the house.

This is a beautiful home! The house is comfortable, clean, perfectly decorated and has everything we could have needed! The beach is only a very short walk away and made it convenient to go back and forth several times each day. The location is perfect for a short drive to dinner or shopping in either Duck or Corolla. Plenty of space in the home to spend time on rainy days playing board games, watching movies or hanging out in the lower level outdoor area playing corn hole. Unfortunately the fire pit didn’t work so that was disappointing. But, I would definitely recommend this house as a perfect place to stay and would love to return some day!

Beautiful home. We had a great time. Highly recommend

The photos and description really don’t do this place justice. It is beautifully decorated, in a quiet neighborhood with a two minute walk to the pretty beach. The owners have made such efforts to consider the comfort of the guests. Lots of outdoor seating areas, very comfortable beds in all the rooms. Comfortable sofas and chairs.Plenty of towels and storage. We’ll be back again for sure, but a longer stay next time.
