BalaLake Resort

The room, the view, the in-room amenities, and the proximity to the lake and neighboring Balaland were all outstanding. We had a wonderful stay, and if I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely return. It was simply fantastic.

Insects: Crazy swarm of midges everywhere all day (though non-biting), which wasn't mentioned anywhere. Location & Access: Pretty remote and hard to reach without a car. Service: Reception was unhelpful with directions over the phone, leaving us feeling lost. Breakfast: Room service breakfast was disappointing and overpriced. Value for Money: The high price isn't justified given the overall experience and service.

Wygodne, przestronne pokoje, bardzo dobrze i gustownie wyposażone, spokój, piękny widok z balkonu, dyskretna obsługa, dobre śniadania przynoszone do pokoju, wg wybranego menu. Można wypożyczyć deski sup i kajaki, wyjazd z hotelu na drogę rowerową, blisko do przeprawy promowej na drugą stronę jeziora. Restauracja z bdb jedzeniem. Obok park wodny.

Czysty i przestronny apartament, wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia.

Balatonlake Resort offers breathtaking views and a prime central location. It's conveniently near the ferry that crosses the lake and features fairly spacious rooms. Families will also appreciate its proximity to a nearby hotel with various kid-friendly attractions.

Breakfast is delivered to the room from a nearby hotel's dining room, but it’s better to go there directly for a wider selection. The kids' room lacks both air conditioning and a fan, making it uncomfortably hot and stuffy. While the second bedroom and living room have fans, only the living room has air conditioning. The crib provided was too soft and not suitable for a baby—we were expecting a wooden or firm-bottom crib. Despite the parking lot being mostly empty, we were assigned a spot far from the entrance. Communication with the reception was difficult due to their limited English, and we weren’t given any helpful information. To use the stove, you need to turn off the water heater’s power supply. Although the hotel claims to clean the rooms every three days, no linens or supplies were refreshed—we had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. They advertise a voucher for entry to a children's park, but it’s not available through Booking.com, and guests booking via that platform don’t receive it.
