This was in a fantastic location - just be prepared to walk the four flights up! And clean and pretty bright - one room is dark but that didn’t matter because it was just for sleeping. The one suggestion I would make is that there was nothing there to facilitate our stay - nothing to get started cooking ie Sal and pepper and oil, no soap to wash clothes. Only being there for a short stay, it would be nice to have the very basics available so that we did not have to buy them

Really great localization , but there is not enough light in the apartment

A nice place next to the most touristic part of the city. We’ve enjoyed staying near the Douro, it was easy to get a lot of places we really wanted to visit.
The only difficult thing was to find a market next to the apartment.

Great location by the river. Very low ceilings throughout and quite a lot of damp
