The Fox Inn

The staff were friendly and lovely setting

A beautiful old pub and restaurant in an idyllic location. Our room was spotless, comfortable with the most beautiful view over the River Windrush. We arrived just before 8pm and had a lovely meal and a drink in the bar. Staff were friendly and very helpful - including carrying my heavy suitcase from my car to the room. We had a great night’s sleep and wish we were staying longer.

Nitpicking here really, but the door into the beautiful en-suite was noisy during nocturnal visits!

Good location, pretty scenery and cosy, friendly staff, great food, continental breakfast included

There was a background smell that would come and go in our hotel room (burford). Not sure if it was coming from the kitchen as we were above it. Maybe that can’t be helped but could do with a few nice smellies in the room.
