Casa Amarela Guesthouse

The guesthouse was lovely. Newly refurbished, modern and clean. Having the rooftop pool was really nice with some sun loungers to relax. Also the kitchen facilities were great for making lovely coffees where you can sit outside I the courtyard and enjoy 😊

Such a lovely host! She was so kind, caring, and helpful throughout my stay. She was always available whenever I needed anything and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there, and she made me feel so special with a thoughtful surprise of a bottle of wine and some delicious pastéis de nata. It was such a sweet gesture and one I truly appreciated. Her kindness and hospitality made my stay even more memorable. I couldn't have asked for a better host. Highly recommend!

I travelled here alone during September time. The accommodation felt very secure and safe as you needed a fob to enter the building. The location of the property was very peaceful but only around a 7 min walk to main Old Town Square. The room was spotless and the staff were very helpful. The owner gave me a few recommendations for local restaurants which were fantastic. I was allowed to use the pool and shower area after I had checked out as I had a flight later in the day which was really handy. I had the whole pool area to myself for most of the day. There are also really comfortable bean bags under a shaded area to lie and read if you want some time out of the sun. There is a coffee machine you can use for free until 12pm with a variety of coffees and a kitchen area with fridge, microwave etc if you prefer to prepare your own food. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others!

It was fine for me but anyone who isn't that fit might struggle with walking up the hills back from the main square. Taxis can always be ordered in this case.
