Hotel-Gasthof Rose

Even though we requested a late check-in several weeks in advance, we were an hour later than we requested because of construction and traffic on the highways. The owner waited up for us and was very gracious and understanding when we arrived. Our room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great views of the mountains from our room balcony. I recommend this hotel Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting Oberammergau!

Everything was fine, but the bathroom was a bit small.

Location excellent…perfect for visiting beautiful Oberamagau. Hotel has old memorabilia from past passion plays… fascinating! Loved it

Little bit brusque … but very efficient

The owner or manager who was working was incredibly helpful. We were trying to figure out transportation or our next destination and getting frustrated due to DB closures. He helped us get a Taxi from Oberamergau to Munich and took a lot of stress off our shoulders.

Didn't have any troubles.

Fantastic location in the heart of the village with everything virtually on the doorstep. Clean, comfortable and cosy room. Breakfast is always superb and the owners/staff are as helpful as it is possible to be.
