Grandvrio Hotel Miyajima Wakura - ROUTE INN HOTELS -

The highlights were the direct view of the sea and Miyajima island, the public bath (open from dawn to very late at night) and the awesome breakfast.

The room hardly had any storage space. We also found the checkout time of 10am unpractically early for a hotel at such a location. Please consider extending the checkout time to at least 11am.

Great breakfast and dinner with a lot of variety. There is something for everyone. Various desserts and beverages also. Beautiful yukatas to use in the hotel. Enjoyed the onsen, very convenient. Really appreciate the shuttle service to the train station and the boat ride to Miyajima island.

All is great, the only minor inconvenience is the distance to the train station. It is not too far, but if you have big luggage and the weather is hot, just be prepared for a bit of a walk getting there.

When you first enter the hotel you will be greeted with a gorgeous view of miyajima. The facility provides yukatas which you can wear around the hotel. The onsen and the complementary services such as ice cream, probiotics drinks, drinks and shower toiletries were all lovely and welcomed after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. They provide a shuttle service to and from the station. I would also higly recommend that you try the soba restaurant beside the hotel.
