Paraiso Palmeras - Cabanaconde

Had a nice stay. Solid room all ok. Nice terrace. Good location. They can help arranging transfers and tours.

Cudne miejsce po długiej wędrówce. Wieczorem możliwość zjedzenia posiłku, w ciągu dnia basen do dyspozycji, czyściutko na całym terenie. Obsługa bardzo dbająca o komfort gości. W domku było czysto i ciepło. Ciepła woda i przyzwoite ciśnienie pod prysznicem. Śniadanie bardzo dobre. Trochę trudno było trafić, ale szliśmy już po ciemku.

One of the best stays we had in Peru. Great family property. Confortable rooms and nice hot showers (sometimes you have to wait a bit longer but it will get hot) The owner is born in Cabanaconde and after his studies in Arequipa he came back to Cabanaconde to start a guesthouse with his wife and his parents help ad well. We did a condor tour with him in the morning. We learned a lot about Cabanaconde and the region. After the tour we hiked into the canyon to lluahar where we stayed the night and took a taxi back, highly recommend. We had dinner at Pachamama, pizza’s were good but we felt the guesthouse and restaurant was a bit of a tourist trap, would really recommend to stay here instead of pachamama if you wanr a more local experience

I feel like I really lucked out with finding this gem of a hotel. Amazing hospitality, hot showers, and great wifi. Free breakfast in the morning as well. I didn't know much about the area before I arrived and the kind gentleman named Manfred whose mother owns the place was extremely helpful. He helped point me in the direction of cool hikes, good food recommendations, and even took me himself on a day long tour. The tour was incredible I cannot recommend it enough. To start the day I had an simple but delicious free breakfast at the hotel and then we were on our way. First we stopped at the famous condor viewing spot Mirador Cruz del Condor that over looks Colca Canyon and wow what a way to start the day. The Canyon is jaw dropping and watching the massive condors fly over us was incredible. After this we drove about 20 minutes to get to some amazing geo thermal areas, a massive geyser! And behind it a beautiful waterfall. You have the option to do multiple tours with them, I myself chose to do both geysers which includes an incredible hike where you are completely surrounded by mountains. At times I felt like I was in Yellowstone National Park because of the views and all of the geo thermal landscapes. We even saw many animals. There condors here as well, also an animal I had never seen before, the viscacha, which looks like a rabbit/chinchilla. There adorable! We also saw wild horses. I dont speak spanish really so Manfred was so kind to take the time to answer my many questions about the surroundings, the animals, and the history of the area. Oh and to top it off we even stopped at a crazy beautiful restaurant that sits right on the canyons edge. This was the cherry on top. Incredible food and the views were out of this world. Listen folks I never leave reviews but I felt I had to after the amazing time I had at this beautiful hotel. Manfred and his family that run the hotel are first class all the way. Don't yourself a favor and stay here!
